CYKLUS LLC, a second-term participant in Circular Startup Tokyo, collaborated with TOKYU LAND CORPORATION, TOKYU LAND SC MANAGEMENT CORPORATION, and Free Standard Inc. to organize the sustainable event “Ecomaki The First CIRCULAR: Searching for Tomorrow’s Standard.” The event took place over three days, from Friday, January 31, to Sunday, February 2, at Tokyu Plaza Harajuku “Harakado.”
Targeted toward students and young adults in their 20s and 30s, the event provided an interactive experience showcasing circular economy practices in fashion. CYKLUS, a company specializing in clothing repair and circular business support, and Free Standard, which supports brand recommerce, co-planned and managed the event. The event was intended to foster collaboration between brands, commercial facilities, and circular partners to expand the concept of circular fashion in society.
The venue was divided into two zones: the “experience” zone and the “learn” zone. Through various activities, visitors could enjoy a comprehensive exploration of circular fashion, including collection, repair, remaking, reuse, and recycling.
