Helsieni, a Finnish startup, operates two main businesses in Finland: in-house mushroom cultivation and selling mushroom cultivation kits for households. In 2023, the company launched a Japan-focused project called Helsinki Mushrooms. This time, we had the opportunity to speak with Benoit Mantel, the founder of Helsieni, and Mayuko Miyagaki, the Japan project manager for Helsinki Mushrooms.
